The Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts is located in Annapolis, Maryland, in a former high school. The Center is in a historic landmark building, yet it needed to modernize and expand to meet its goal to be a premier arts destination for the region. In the subsequent redevelopment, Morabito Consultants provided structural engineering services for the renovation and additions to the Center including upgrades to the theater and public spaces and the conversion of the gymnasium to a new community theater. Additions to the historic building provide stage support and lobby space for the new theater as well as dressing rooms, a café, and a new courtyard for outdoor performances.
