Odyssey School Expansion: Construction Progress Update | April 30, 2026

Morabito Consultants recently completed a site visit to observe ongoing construction progress at the Odyssey School located in Timonium, MD. Overall, the project continues to move forward with several key structural elements now in place.

Structural Steel and Framing Progress

Structural steel framing and cold-formed metal trusses in place during construction.

During the visit, several components of the structural scope were observed to be substantially complete, including structural steel erection, cold‑formed metal framing (CFMF) trusses, and slab‑on‑grade placement. As a result, these elements establish the primary structural framework for the expansion and represent a major construction milestone.

Roof Deck Installation Underway

Flat roof deck installation supported by structural steel framing.

In addition, the flat roof deck has been installed over portions of the structure, providing a critical base for future roofing and enclosure work. Hall trusses and purlins are also in place and supporting continued progress throughout the building footprint.

Timber Framing Elements and Continued Coordination

Timber roof framing installed over structural steel supports.

Additionalframing work, including exterior wall framing is now underway.

We appreciate the continued collaboration among the project team and look forward to sharing future updates as the Odyssey School Expansion progresses toward completion.
