With hurricane season at its peak, it is important to look at structural integrity. The image above shows the normal deterioration of a structure’s strength over time and when a disaster occurs, structural strength drops dramatically. The image also shows how repair, rehabilitation, and retrofitting can restore and improve a structure’s strength.
