Brett DeWees, EIT
Project Engineer
Brett joined Morabito Consultants as a Project Engineer after earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from York College of Pennsylvania in 2024 and receiving his EIT certification the same year. Before joining MC, he gained experience with a structural engineering firm specializing in marine and industrial structures and with a construction management company, giving him a practical understanding of both design and construction.
In his role, Brett supports the preparation of structural plans, engineering calculations, shop drawing reviews, and fieldwork for a variety of building projects. He applies his varied background to developing clear, coordinated structural solutions while continuing to expand his technical capabilities and work toward Professional Engineer licensure.
Brett also serves in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and is currently attending Officer Candidate School. A former catcher for York College’s baseball team and an accomplished triathlete, he brings discipline, teamwork, and perseverance to his professional work. Outside the office, Brett enjoys working out, watching sports, and spending time with his wife and their pit bull.
