James Corckran

James joined Morabito Consultants as a Project Engineer after graduating from Virginia Tech in 2023 with a degree in Civil Engineering focused on structures. Since joining the firm, he has continued to expand his technical knowledge while gaining experience across steel, wood, and masonry design.

As he works toward his Professional Engineer license, James contributes to project teams with a strong interest in structural systems, practical design solutions, and continued professional growth. He values the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers while supporting the delivery of well-coordinated structural work for a range of project types.

Known for his curiosity and steady commitment to developing his skills, James continues to build his experience within MC’s collaborative engineering environment. Outside the office, he enjoys watching sports and spending time outdoors, including golfing, sailing, skiing, and hunting.
