John L. Anderson, PE | Principal
John Anderson has been part of Morabito Consultants since 2004, when he joined the firm after earning his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from Penn State. Over the course of his career, he has advanced into his role as Principal while building broad experience in the design and detailing of structural systems for large-scale, complex, and distinctive projects.
John’s work spans office buildings, medical and hospital facilities, residential buildings, custom homes, warehouses, churches, schools, and historic renovations. He brings particular expertise in structural modeling and analysis, carbon fiber-reinforced polymer systems, and the preparation of new and existing structures to support heavy or sensitive equipment and storage systems. He enjoys seeing early schematic ideas develop into completed structures and takes pride in helping teams solve challenges with efficient, practical solutions.
As a licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida, John brings steady technical judgment and a collaborative approach to his work with clients, architects, contractors, and project teams. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and continues to support the firm’s commitment to thoughtful, reliable structural design. Outside the office, John is an avid drummer and enjoys camping and traveling with his wife and two daughters.
