Josh was exposed to building design and structural engineering at a young age, inspired by seeing his father, Fred Morabito, reviewing drawings at home. He began drafting for MC while still in high school at Calvert Hall College High School and continued working with the firm throughout his studies at the University of Delaware. After graduating, Josh joined MC full time and has since grown into a key leader within the firm.
Throughout his career, Josh has been instrumental in delivering structural design for a wide range of complex projects across multiple market sectors. He is widely known for his ability to understand the broader vision of a project and translate that vision into practical, effective strategies that guide teams from concept through construction. His experience across structural systems and building types allows him to anticipate challenges, align design with project goals, and support efficient decision‑making.
Josh’s primary focus is on schools and commercial projects, though he has played key roles in the design of nearly all project types undertaken by MC. He values close collaboration with architects, developers, and contractors to develop economical, constructible solutions to unique design challenges and demanding field conditions.
In his leadership role, Josh is deeply focused on strengthening client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the firm. A central priority for him is developing new relationships while maintaining and building upon the long‑standing client partnerships established by the firm’s prior generation. He takes great pride in continuing the trust, responsiveness, and personal connections that have long defined MC’s reputation, while helping position the firm for its next chapter alongside President Nick Morabito.
Josh is a licensed Professional Engineer in eight states.
Outside of the office, Josh enjoys playing golf and pickleball, spending time at the beach, and, with his wife Katie, keeping up with their three children.
