Cinepolis Kentlands

When Cinepolis selected an existing theatre at Kentlands for its flagship Maryland location, they encountered challenges retro-fitting the 1990s era building to accommodate 21st century entertainment. MC was brought in early to determine the feasibility of renovating the existing building as Cinepolis needed to significantly raise the roof to get the clear heights needed for its luxury theatre experience.
MC reused the existing structure where feasible, including select existing column footings and slab on grade. MC also designed the platform structure for the tiered seating.
