This mixed-use project in Arlington added significant parking and retail space at its Pentagon Centre location. The seven-story building is precast concrete encompassing parking for 426 cars and ground level shopping. Morabito Consultants provided structural engineering and parking consulting services including:
- Functional layout of parking
- Complete structural engineering design of foundations, cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, and layout and detailing of precast framing.
The project is topped with a 7,760 SF solar canopy on a structural steel frame set on steel columns that are supported by precast concrete columns.
