Morabito Consultants has completed numerous projects on the campus of Anne Arundel Health Systems over last 20 years including the original five-story, Sajak Pavilion (160,000 SF) and its expansion; the eight-level Acute Care Facility (270,000 SF); and the seven-story Health Science Pavilion (230,000 SF). The buildings are joined by a 110-foot long pedestrian bridge spanning a highway on campus.
Anne Arundel Medical Center, Acute Care Pavilion South received a LEED Gold Green Building Certification. It features a green roof, water-conserving, high-efficiency toilets and sinks, and pavement that doubles as a rainwater filter. The building also used recycled steel in construction.
