Serving as the Structural Engineer of Record, waterproofing consultant, and threshold inspector, our team is collaborating closely with Concrete Protection & Restoration (CP&R) and owner’s representative Socotec to deliver this complex structural and waterproofing restoration.

Advancing Structural Repairs & Waterproofing

Over the past several month, this project has reached several key milestones as restoration efforts continue across the plaza and garage deck system.

• Concrete placements across planter walls and perimeter elements
• Bonded topping slabs installed throughout plaza areas
• Courtyard slab reconstruction progressing
• Post-tension tendon restressing to restore structural performance

Enhancing Durability through Waterproofing Systems

Waterproofing remains a critical component of the restoration. Installation efforts are progressing steadily, including:

• Sikalastic RoofPRO systems for plaza waterproofing
• DSM joint systems to enhance long-term joint performance
• Upgraded drainage systems to improve water management

These improvements are designed to mitigate water intrusion, extend service life, and protect underlying structural components.
