Because the garage is constructed over occupied office space, the repair program required careful coordination to maintain building operations during construction.
Detailed investigations identified decades of deterioration, including widespread concrete distress in slabs, beams, and columns, as well as overstressed structural elements. Morabito Consultants prepared repair documents for concrete restoration, structural strengthening, installation of a new exterior car barrier system, and replacement of the traffic-bearing waterproofing membrane at the top-level parking deck.
