This state-of-the-art medical manufacturing facility located in Middletown, DE, produces pharmaceutical components under Datwyler’s most rigorous anti-contaminant standards, so great care went into the structural design to accommodate clean room and sterile environment requirements.

The production facility required the design of multi-level mezzanines to meet production requirements and to create a viewing corridor for visitors and employees. The office structure features an open lobby with two story glass storefronts on two walls supported by steel tube girts and column. An exposed walkway supported by steel framing on the second floor affords an unobstructed view of the open area. The resulting building is modern, efficient and meets the company mandate to produce components in the most advanced clean rooms available.
