Maple Lawn Office Park
Morabito Consultants provided structural engineering services for Maple Lawn Office Buildings 3 and 6, two Class A office buildings within the Maple Lawn Office Park development in Howard County, Maryland. Together, the four-story buildings total approximately 260,000 square feet and were designed to support flexible tenant layouts, efficient office use, and cohesive campus growth.
The structural designs balanced performance, constructability, and budget goals through efficient commercial building systems, including structural steel framing for Building 6 and evaluated steel-framed and cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete floor system options for Building 3. Morabito Consultants coordinated structural solutions to accommodate basements, setbacks, façade articulation, precast façade systems, varied exterior treatments, and later design modifications to upper levels, columns, and foundations.
Through full structural design and construction administration services, Morabito Consultants delivered durable, adaptable office structures that support long-term tenant flexibility, architectural character, and the continued development of the Maple Lawn office campus.
