Pentagon City Garage
Morabito Consultants provided parking consulting and structural engineering design services for Pentagon City Garage at Pentagon Centre in Arlington, Virginia. The seven-story, 208,000-square-foot precast concrete parking structure accommodates 426 vehicles and includes ground-level retail space that supports an active mixed-use streetscape.
Morabito Consultants developed the functional parking layout and circulation design to maximize efficiency within the site, including entry and exit configurations, striping, and signage to improve traffic flow and user experience. Structural engineering services included foundations, cast-in-place concrete elements, structural steel components, and complete layout and detailing of the precast concrete framing system.
The project also incorporates a 7,760-square-foot rooftop solar canopy supported by a structural steel frame on steel columns bearing on the precast structure. The completed garage integrates efficient parking operations, durable structural systems, ground-level retail, and sustainable design features within a high-traffic urban setting.
