A licensed PE, Tyler enjoys seeing his drawings come to life in the built environment.

Tyler Bringe, PE | Associate

Tyler joined the MC team in 2012 after receiving his bachelor’s degree from Penn State.  Since then, he has become a licensed PE, received his master’s degree from Johns Hopkins, and lead our structural engineering efforts for numerous projects ranging from renovations of small, historic houses to the construction of new 275,000 square foot mid-rise buildings.

Tyler has become skilled in the design and detailing of buildings constructed with structural steel, cold-formed steel, wood, and composite metal joist through his work on several multi-story senior living communities throughout Maryland and Virginia.  In providing the structural design for other projects such as schools, storage unit facilities, and office buildings, Tyler has developed a breadth of experience in the major structural systems found in modern construction.  Tyler enjoys resolving the load paths in intricate and complex structures, and he appreciates working with architects in bringing their ideas and designs to life.  He also welcomes any opportunity to work with contractors in developing solutions for challenging field conditions such that projects remain on schedule and within budget.

In addition to maintaining his current engineering duties, Tyler is always excited to take on the additional responsibilities associated with his role as an Associate Principal at MC.  Away from the office, Tyler enjoys fishing, disc golf, and spending time with his wife and dog.
